Trek Issues Recall for Quick Release Skewers on Disc Brake Bikes
RECALL ALERT
For those of you riding Trek bikes with disc brakes and quick release skewers, please note that Trek has issued a recall for them. There is the possibility of the skewer getting caught in the disc brake and causing an accident. Check out your local dealer for more information!
To Glow or not to Glow
An interesting discussion is taking place on various media outlets about whether cyclists should paint their bikes with “Lifepaint” that glows in the dark – so that we make ourselves more visible to motorists. Cycle Transitions advocates safety first but why has it come to this? Why do we have to glow on the roads? Why can’t we just have lights like cars do?
