NEWS AND EVENTS

BBQ reminder for Saturday

Tomorrow is the big day. For all of you planning to attend our 1st anniversary bbq this Saturday (noon to 2 p.m.), please bring your lawn chair. The weather forecast is calling for 6 hours of sunshine but also some rain. We’re hoping to sit outside on the lawn behind CT, but if it rains, we’ll move inside into the larger main area of the building. See you all there!

CT hours are changing

With the changing season, also comes a change in Cycle Transitions hours. As of this week, we’re switching to “off-season” hours at CT. We’ll be open to the public and members on Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings only. Thursday evenings are reserved for mechanics to start working on our stockpile of bicycles.

Anniversary BBQ: Sat. Oct. 5 from 12-2pm

burgerIt’s been a fabulously successful first year of operation for Cycle Transitions and what better way to celebrate than with a BBQ. Come on out, see how far we’ve come and partake in the BBQ. Yummy Yummy! It’s a great opportunity to take a look in the shop, see what’s happening, renew your membership, or just socialize with other cyclists.

Date: Saturday October 5th, 2013
Location: Cycle Transitions
Time: 12:00-2:00pm

Hope you can make it!

Need help to collect donated bicycles from Cobourg Police Service

The Cobourg Police Service has generously agreed to donate unclaimed bicycles from their storage to Cycle Transitions provided we make as many of them as possible to folks-in-need. We are looking for volunteers to help with the collection and transportation of these bicycles. Those with a truck, a van, or trailer are especially encouraged to lend a hand.

Date: Tuesday September 24th
Time:  3:30 p.m.
Meeting Place: Cobourg Police Station
