Can Bike Safe Cycling Clinic in N’land County Schools

Cycle Transitions has recently begun delivering a series of Can Bike safe cycling clinics at Northumberland County schools.  A grade 4 or 5 class of five elementary schools, ones in Colborne, Grafton and Brighton, are receiving these. The clinics are being organized by the Ontario Provincial Police and assisted by the OPP axillary team.

The students are learning the skills to handle their bike safely, the rules of the road (being aware of the fact that they are considered a “vehicle” when riding of the road), and how to ride safely on the road.
